Weekly Update

The Guys
Time for an update

This weekly update is really a catch up for the month. So much time was spent at the beginning of the month writing about how everyone did their terminator captains and sharing those awesome images of Fairy’s Titan Legion we ran out of time to talk about what everyone was working on for June. So here, let’s get you up to speed with the weekly update.

This month is small games month as we all await the arrival of the new 40k. Everyone is keen to do a new 40k army. With new rules on the horizon though everyone was also a little hesitant. So while we await the arrival of the new rules we decided to go the same universe just smaller. Enter Necromunda!

If you follow us on Instagram you may have seen some sneaky pictures already. The guys have all been hard at it. So at the end of the second week here is where everyone stands.

Fairy

Fairy has decided to go a Delaque gang. He spent a lot of the first week of the month looking at source material. Very fond of taking a Dark City style approach to the gang. While researching he was also building minis.

With a theme in mind, Fairy cracked out the airbrush. After such great success with the airbrush last month he is trying to make it a staple of his painting now. After a second week, the gang is coming along. Purple instead of the Dark City black for the cloaks but still dark and ominous looking enough.

Fury

Fury was not as excited as the other two to join the Necromunda bandwagon this month. However, after a little convincing he agreed that he would finish off an old Cawdor gang that has been sitting around for years. After that it didn’t take much more convincing to get Fury to agree to some games of Necromunda either.

Fury was subjected to a wide range of smack talk once everyone saw how little he had left to do on the Cawdor gang. So he agreed to also do some more models for his Beast of Chaos force. Somehow he continues to find models for this army!

Sparky

Sparky was super keen to jump on the Necromunda bandwagon. He not only had the Necromunda Underhive box sitting unopened but he also had the Necromunda Dark Uprising version on the way as well. Sparky is planning to do a Palantine Enforcers gang.

As always Sparky was keen to aim big for the month though and give himself plenty of distractions. He has claimed he will also get the Aeronautica Imperialis flyers done as well. With a new boxed set for Aeronautica on the way, he wanted to get the Orks done before it arrived. Two weeks into the month and he is just about there with the Orks. Not much has happened with the Necromunda gang though.

All Caught Up

Well, that’s the weekly update quickfire catch-up. Now we are back up to speed with what everyone is working on for the month we will have some more regular updates in the coming week. Expect to see some gang progress this week and maybe even some terrain completed. I suspect there may be some tiny planes making an appearance as well.
