Paint A Primaris

Paint a Primaris
Warhammer 40000

Warhammer 40,000 9th edition is due to be released shortly so we thought it was about time that we all paint a Primaris Space Marine. It turns out that none of us have actually painted one yet. We couldn’t just all paint the same model again without another challenge though. It’s time for another good old fashioned paint off.

When Sparky realised no one had done a new Primaris Marine yet he couldn’t help but throw down a challenge. Instead of just challenging the guys to paint a Primaris though he wanted to add a twist to tie in with the new 40k.

“Let’s see who can paint a Primaris in a new chapter colour scheme.”
SPARKY

We think that twist was all a little convenient because Sparky is planning to start a new chapter for 9th edition. Regardless of what we all thought though everyone was up for the challenge. Any chance to try and beat Fairy again had to be taken up.

Join Us In The Challenge

Last time we did a paint off we had a lot of people say that they wished they could have joined in. So we thought why not make this challenge open to anyone who wants to join. If you are keen for a fun little painting challenge, and a chance to beat Fairy, have a read below to see how we are doing this.

Paint A Primaris Challenge

The challenge is simple. Paint a Primaris in a new chapter colour scheme. We are starting with a brand new Marine today and it must be painted by July 25th. Release day of the new 40k! The new chapter scheme can be wild and crazy or keep it simple like a current chapter. Some of the guys have been throwing around names and background already. To judge the winner of this one we are going to post them on our Instagram account and see who gets the most likes.

If you want to join us in the challenge follow us on Instagram and post your photos with #New40kChapter

Be sure to post a starting photo along with some work in progress pics so everyone can share the journey. We are looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
