Titans
Small details seem to get Fairy excited. Some say he has a fascination with small things because of personal reasons all I know is he can paint fine detail like crazy. I expect these Titans for Adeptus Titanicus will bring him some weird joy with all their tiny bits. Fairy has a large number of old school Epic 40,000 armies so it was no surprise he wanted to start this thing off with more Titans.
He has won tournaments across Australia for Epic and has been trying to get me to play Titanicus all year. I have the boxed set sitting around somewhere, probably still unopened, but that level of detail just annoys me these days. Maybe seeing all his models this month might inspire me.
These Titans definitely look cool. Large war machines stomping around a planet does get me motivated to paint. I was already committed this month though so Fairy is on his own with the Titans. Out of the three of us, he has made a quick start. He’s got this Warbringer Nemesis together already and like Fury, he has gone for large models compared to 40k troops. Already I feel like I’ve picked the short straw by going Tyranids. I’m glad we didn’t put money on this now.
