Dragon Ogors
Three guys and three different systems. Today Fury is the focus because he made the big claim that he would smash this whole painting thing. He’s starting April with his Dragon Ogors for Age of Sigmar.
He’s not exactly starting from a blank slate but these big guys still have plenty of work to go on them.
I have no idea how many points this is worth and I don’t think Fury does either yet. Fury decided on the Dragon Ogors because they’ve been sitting unfinished for a while. He is looking forward to getting into a bit more Age of Sigmar when we can actually play games again. These Dragon Ogors, while a force by themselves, should also go nicely alongside his other Beasts of Chaos.
If Fury sets some time to this I’m sure he will get through this army but after only a couple of days I asked him how much he had painted and his response was
“I painted everything except the project!”
– Fury – Day 6, April 2020
So Fury may be off to a slow start due to other models distracting him. I’m sure he’ll turn it around though after all these guys are just brown, brown, and a bit of gold. They are big models too so not a lot of fine detail work is needed to get them done to gaming standard.
Admittedly with everything that’s going on in the world right now Fury has it tough. Trying to keep a business running and adjusting to the current conditions won’t leave a lot of time for painting toy soldiers. I don’t actually feel bad for him, I just wish I had put some money on him not finishing. It’s early days though and a long month ahead.
