Dragon Ogor Progress
Fury has made some great progress on his Dragon Ogors by taking on a mix between a production line and a single miniature at a time approach. Fury is definitely cranking along now. He has completely finished one as you can see above. He also has a lot of base coating done across the herd.
Work on the Shaggoth to lead the force is a bit slower as Fury is spending more time on his leader. Some progress has been made over the last few days but this guy is getting some extra highlighting work as befits an armies general.
Beasts of Chaos
As any good Beast of Chaos deserves Fury has applied a liberal amount of gore and carnage to his models. He has gone to town with base decoration preferring to detail the bases as part of the whole base coating process rather than leave them until the end.
Judging by the progress he has made since the last update it looks like Fury is trying to prove his statement about being the fastest one here. Time off work over an Easter long weekend obviously helps with painting time. Looking at his progress when the force is all lined up though proves he is definitely the closest to completion of a full force at this point.
Motivation to finish has also come from an outside source. Recently, we put a poll on our club page asking who would actually finish their force this month. Judging by the poll, Fairy is the only one actually expected to finish. The poll has become some extrinsic motivation for Fury. The type of motivation that is working. Is that the key to painting motivation? Being shamed into painting piles of plastic by a large group. Is it having a large group bet against you? After all, Fury always likes being an underdog. Either way, it’s working for Fury. Every Dragon Ogor is now base coated with most highlighting done. Looking at the progress shot below it looks like there are only the bases and some touch-ups to go. He might be finished before the month is over at this rate.
