Is a portal a force? That’s the question we posed to Fury when he said for May his challenge would be to paint a display board. Fury claims this will be a display board worthy of a months painting. At one point, he even claimed it would be the most amazing display board anyone has ever seen. We will let you be the judge at the end of the month.

The display board is certainly big. On size alone, it will probably take the month to paint. Given that Fury is planning to go all out on this board it may be worth the wait. He has definitely started strong. Already Fury has laid down some base coats, highlights and weathering pigment. (Way too much effort for a display board if you ask me – Sparky.)

The colours are looking good. It really has that Beasts of Chaos feel to it as well. Fury has been a little quiet on what this portal will look like when he’s done. The idea of LED’s has been raised but I have a feeling this will have a more old school look to it. Something that will go with his classic Dragon Ogre and Beastmen models. Maybe if he gets it finished before the month’s end we can still talk him into doing a model or two as well this month.
