The Guys
Weekly Update

Another week into May and things have hit the point of distraction and procrastination in the weekly update. The guys are slowly making progress but the last week has been taken over with painting for other purposes. Check out the weekly update below for all the links to what you missed.

FURY

Over the past week, Fury has been obsessed with improving his painting technique. His single-minded focus to improve has seen many an old model pulled out of the pile to get his painting skills back up to standard. Not that they had dropped. Rather the focus had shifted. Now instead of his focus being on pumping out an army, he is keen to put a lot of effort into a single model it seems. Will any progress on the display board occur this week? Or will Fury spend all his time on the painting competition model just to try and beat Fairy and Sparky?

FAIRY

Fairy has made some progress on his Reaver Titan over the past week. So we should see that finished during the coming week and get pictures of a complete Legio. Unless he succumbs to the draw of the painting competition model as well.

“Some say Fairy really hates to lose to anyone, especially Fury.”

Fairy also employed the use of some more magnets last week, with a photo guide to mounting your Adeptus Titanicus weapons with magnets. It is a shame conversions were banned from the classic model paint off. Fairy may have surprised everyone with something special if he had the option.

To be fair to Fairy. It was his turn to talk about his #Best3minis classic painted miniatures last week on Thursday Throwback as well. So he did have a lot to do. Rumour also has it that his 3D printer has been working overtime this weekend. So, we may see more images of the Adeptus Titanicus terrain in the week ahead.

SPARKY

Sparky Profile Pic

Meanwhile, Sparky’s pace has slowed with the Adeptus Custodes as that all-important work/life balance swung a little too much toward work in the past week. Sparky did manage to get some work done on his Contemptor Dreadnought early last week but his grand plans for completing it fell a little short by the end of the week.

During the coming week, it will be interesting to see if Sparky can regain some momentum. Or will he possibly fall victim to the desire to beat Fury in this paint off as well? With Sparky, it is just as likely another shiny thing will distract him. Especially considering it is his turn to present his #Best3minis classic painted models this Thursday. Check back throughout the week to see how he fairs.
